Established by the call of God
In June of 2018, six people gathered in the living room of Pastor Tony & Michelle Tubera’s home to worship God, fellowship, and hear what God was stirring in Tony Tubera. This was the beginning of 424 Church.
Over the years, people of all ages and walks of life have been drawn into this spiritual family and are experiencing the transforming power of the Holy Spirit through the teaching of God’s Word and the fellowship of Christ. Although the number of people calling 424 their home has increased and many new ministries have been started to support the work of God, the clarity of purpose remains – worship God in spirit and in truth, be devoted to the fellowship, and be led by the Spirit in all things.

A spiritual family
424 Church can be described in many ways, but above all it is a family. Our family members love deeply (John 13:35), care for and support one another (Galatians 6:2), and lean into honest relationship in Christ (1 John 1:7). In a time when, sadly, many churches are run as a business, God has made it clear that his church is meant to stand as a city on a hill in clear contrast to the systems of this fallen world.
Inside a healthy spiritual family, brothers and sisters in Christ pray for each other and spur one another on to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24). Fathers and mothers nuture, teach, and disciple spiritual children so that they can grow in the Lord and then become spiritual parents themselves (1 Peter 2:2).
Devoted to Christ
The message of 424 Church is a singular message – CHRIST. He is the beginning and the end, and all things are by Him, through Him, and to Him. God has made it clear that we are not to be double-minded, but that we are to live pure lives before God with the same heart posture of our Lord who said, “Not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42). God is forming us into the image of Jesus and has given us the heart posture of Christ which is fully surrendered and completely dependent upon the Father.
God has called us to walk in spiritual discernment, understanding the difference between the flesh and the Spirit. We believe that the will of man and the efforts of man are of no use in the spiritual Kingdom of God. It is only by the Holy Spirit’s leading and power that we can do anything that will bring God the glory He deserves. This is why we walk in the Spirit, not the flesh, and teach others to do the same.
